Sick Call Ranger Dream

Am writing down my dream and keeping them hear,had this dream this weekend.

I was told to go to sick call by my platoon Sergeant who was Sergeant Andrade. When I arrived at sick call it was not sick call hours and the medics were doing their laundry. The sick call building had laundry everywhere. A male medic did not give me any attention. A female medic came to me and asked who sent me their and wrote in a orange crayon my platoon sergeants name and filled out the rest of the sick call slip, she ask what was wrong, I told her I was tired all the time, and then I woke up.

Shaka Zulu is not a Pop Star or Rapper

Introduction: The name Shaka Zulu was much like hearing the name Black Beard the Pirate. He was a great chieftain leader who improved the way the South African people. The purpose of this learning objective is an overview the Zulu Nation and how it was formed.
The Zulu Nation was formed out of small clans of a hundred the nation got bigger. In 1816 the Zulu Nation got bigger. Shaka Zulu became chief, he developed a new fighting style. The fighting army was very well disciplined, the warrior fought with a shorter spear, so the , had to get closer to the enemy for a kill. The Zulu Nation was formed by conquering clans.
The Zulu Nation lived in homestead instead of villages. The offspring got what ever the father had .Families never married with clans that were not Zulu. Blood lines were much like a Catholic marrying a Mormon in Las Vegas, Nevada. The relationship would not be a marriage and the Catholic would not be allowed to receive communion if the marriage was not done by Catholic priest in a Catholic Church.
The Faith of the Zulu Nation was that God is all around us. A deceased relative had the power to heal the sick. This is important because when one member of the family was sick the whole family was sick. This is much like the religion of Voodoo that relatives become deities of sorts. The difference between the Catholic Church and Zulu Nation instant Saint, a Saint needs to have three miracles put to their ledger to be a Saint. Therefore an average person in the Catholic Church, who died, does not get prayed too. Although “All Souls” is dedicated to all that died. The Catholic Church has Saints that helps the sick. It interesting that most religions have a common thread. All family members that died watch over the living, in most faiths. To conclude the Zulu still survived even to this day, so they must be something right.

Introduction: A good movie for audio and visional learners, Shaka Zulu: The Last Great Warrior. This movie gave an overview of the black African Napoleon Shaka Zula.

The movie Shaka Zulu: The Last Great Warrior was a good movie. This movie was about the Zulu King Shaka Zulu. Shaka Zulu had British visitors visiting him, and amongst those visitors was a military officer. This military officer had a daughter named Elizabeth who went out to seek her father. Elizabeth used her wealth and her father influences to seek passage to arrive in Africa from Britain. The goal of the British quartering party was to asset what Shaka Zulu had, but in doing so the group of men found themselves absorbed into the Zulu culture.
What made Shaka Zulu: The Last Great Warrior good was the portraying of the slave ship. The slaves where put on the ships in various ways throughout history, but most people imagining them standing the whole time or something. This movie portrayal the slaves lying on their backs and they where chained at every limb. The human mind must think slaves got splinter and dealt with insects and bodily fluids. Often in books it is illustrated in this manner, but to see it on television is a much different experience.
Prentice Mungo was played by David Hasselhoff was a British citizen flying a foreign flag to round up slaves to sell in countries that still had slaves. Prentice Mungo ship was attacked by the Elizabeth Father in effort to recover Shaka Zulu from Prentice Mungo, not knowing his daughter was aboard. Prentice Mungo was participating in illegal activity since he was British.
In conclusion this story line seems like some myth to me. Shaka Zulu captured by a slave trader. The movie is good to watch for high school student and early college students because one could read books all day long and just be skimming the words, seeing something played out makes one wish Greeks Tragedy plays where still a common place. The director Joshua Sinclair did his job well. The conclusion of the movie was Prentice Mungo was pardon fro his slave trade crimes and went off with Elizabeth. Elizabeth father went to live amongst the Zulu. Shaka asked Elizabeth father if the Zulu people what if after many generations which children will be African the British living in Cape Colony of the Children living amongst the African lands. Shaka Zulu was not like Napoleon or any the Roman General or Adolph Hitler. His fighting was more done like General Lee wanting a strong Virginia, Shaka Zulu wanted a strong Africa. A strong but free Africa is what proud world still needs…

Kwanza Explanation

Kwanza is a holiday that uses some religious symbolism in it celebrations; it is a celebration for peace. A Catholic holiday known as Advent can be compared to the holiday Kwanza. The purpose of Advent is to practice a type of purification, for the Catholic person. The Advent holiday is done, so the individual can enjoy Christmas. Advent reading in the Catholic Church is geared towards the fact that Mary of Nazareth could have been stoned to death for adultery. How brave this woman may have been to except the job to be the mother of Jesus.
Advent has candles symbolism similar to Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa uses a candle holder called a Kinara. The Kinara candle holder means to the African people, a reminder of their roots, the visible symbol helps in the celebration. In Advent a wreath is used, it is an evergreen tree; it symbolizes the Catholic faithful, hope and charity. The Mishumaa Saba is the name of seven candles used in celebrations used in Kwanzaa. The seven candles stand for the need for change in the individual lives. In Advent candles are placed around a wreath and pink and purple colored candles are lightening up throughout the coming weeks before Christmas.
Other similarities between Kwanzaa and Advent are gifts are given during the times of the year these holidays are worshipped. The gifts symbolize in Kwanzaa a promise between adults and their offspring, the gifts symbol name is the Zawadi. Children learn by this gift giving that hard work pays off .The color of Kwanzaa are on a flag called the Bendera, the colors are black, red and green. Advent and Kwanzaa both use the color to mean martyrdom or struggle. Green is used in the Catholic Church to mean ordinary time, where Kwanzaa uses green to remind people of hope. Black is also used in celebrations in Kwanzaa. Purple is the liturgical color of hope it is worn throughout the Advent season, by the clergy in the Catholic Church.
The Catholic Church on a weekly cycle uses a wine cup as a meaning of unity .The Kwanzaa cup is called Kikombe cha Umoja meaning unity. The Catholic Church buildings are much like the mat called Mkeka which is a symbol of the foundation. Symbols such as corn are called Muhindi; corn is often seen on a Catholic Family table also. Mazao is a word that means crops; the best harvest would be used for Advent and Christmas celebrations.
In Kwanzaa has a poster called Nguzo Saba Poster, the poster has seven principles of this holiday. Advent often uses a small thirty day calendar, like a poster to help children count down for Christmas. The symbolism of Kwanzaa and Advent are similar, Kwanzaa is not religious in nature, but the practice could be considered a religious.

This is an eyewitness account, of Nelson Mandela coming out of prison. The thought of an old man in prison for his political activities was shocking to someone who simply wanted to watch the Smurfs. The Smurfs were a Saturday Morning Cartoon, about small blue people. Nelson Mandela did not come out of jail with an old suit and $50.00 dollars, he came out in style.
